Oh and another thing that has helped me and hopefully it can help others, too, is when you're stuck in writer's block, just write out your thoughts. Whatever comes to mind just write it out. It won't make sense but write it. And watch, you're either going to complete the article at that moment with edits or you'll save it and when you go back to it you'll be so thankful you already have a topic you can write about. Do it!
